i had a great stay at ibis budget! the location was fantastic, right next to a major fire station, which made it easy to find. my room was super comfy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. they even suggested a lovely canal walk for my puppy, which we both enjoyed. a perfect budget choice!

handy light switches, clever use of space, good heating system
Facilities need significant upgrades!!! The shower leaks everywhere, and the toilet feels like a pantry!!! A more accessible entrance is crucial—forcing guests to wade through puddles in the rain is unacceptable!!!

The room layout features a shower in the bedroom area with a separate toilet, odd but workable. Comfortable bed, clean linens, and fresh towels create a decent sleeping environment.
The design of the shower area means that water tends to splash around, making the floor slippery. The toilet is cramped and might not suit everyone, particularly those who need more space. Limited plug sockets near the desk require an extension cord to charge devices at night. You won't find tea-making facilities in the room unless you pay extra, which feels a bit off for a standard stay. Lastly, while breakfast options exist, they are fairly basic and could use a bit more flair.

The shower was powerful and refreshing which is what you need after a long day and you can't beat the breakfast pastries so many choices yummy croissants and cinnamon rolls just great
It was a bit pricey for the experience but still didn't break the bank

One of the best showers I've had in a budget place—powerful and refreshing. The room felt cramped, lacking privacy. Staff friendly and easy check-in. No on-site dining options that impress, breakfast was mediocre.

So, there's a real gem of a café called Katy's Cafe just up the road—proper tasty brews and a vibe that'll warm your soul! The staff were really top-notch, ready to go the extra mile. Plus, you can't ignore the delightful surprises like the kettle in the room. Nice touch for a budget spot!
Now for the cheeky bits, the shower felt like a peep show with zero privacy, and breakfast? Not exactly an Insta-worthy spread—more like stale pastries and a dodgy fruit bowl. Maybe skip brekkie and go explore local spots instead!

Had a nice time here with a cozy twin room and a surprise breakfast that hit the spot. I loved the comfy lounge area and the chance to unwind with a nice cup of coffee. The kettle cord was a bit short, which was a bit annoying, but overall a decent place for a night away! 😊
